CSA Details
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Farmers are hit with all their expenses at the beginning of the season before money starts rolling in from the crops. Therefore, a CSA program allows individuals to pledge their support to a farm and helps the farmers fund the season's expenses. A CSA also helps protect the farmers in case of bad weather or a lousy week at markets. Growing food can be a very unpredictable business, and your support helps remove some of the variables that push many away from the field! Through our CSA, members receive fresh, seasonal vegetables on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. We combine our own produce with produce grown on other local organic farms, when necessary, to provide our members with the best quality, quantities, and variety at all times.
USDA Organic Certification
We have worked hard to achieve the USDA Organic Certification, which means the vegetables we provide for your families are 100% sustainably and organically grown, with absolutely no chemicals or pesticides.
Share Sizes
Share sizes range from full shares, which feed a family of four, to half shares, which feed a family of two. Half shares pick-up every other week.
Vegetable Shares

Fruit Shares
We offer a wholesale fruit share that pulls organic fruit from all over the US to give you the best price and choices for each season. We source a majority of the fruit from Florida and Georgia with one to two items per bag from places like California and Washington for the sake of variety.

Bread Shares
Susan, at Three Son's Bakery in Tallahassee, makes a special 100% Whole Grain Loaf for our CSA. She mills the wheat herself and uses all organic grains.
Ingredients: fresh milled organic wheat, organic steel cut oats, organic barley, organic soy, organic wheat bran, organic buckwheat, organic yellow corn, organic hulled millet, canola oil, brown sugar, yeast, salt, gluten, soy lecithin
Loaf Weight: 1.5 lbs
Sugar: 1 tblsp.

Coffee Shares
Grassroots is a locally owned coffee shop that we have paired up with for a coffee CSA. They have their USDA organic roasters certification, and are roasting some great organic coffee. The bags are half pounders.
Beef Shares
We are offering a beef CSA for Summer session. Our beef is 100% grass-fed with no antibiotics or hormones, and we are Animal Welfare Approved. We’re going to start small, so there are only 5 full shares available (or 10 half shares). The shares will consist of a variety of meat cuts including Sirloin Steaks, New York Strips, Filets, Ribeyes, Skirt Steaks, Flank Steaks, Sirloin Tip Roasts, Eye of Round Roasts, Top/Inside Round Roasts, Bottom Round Roasts, Chuck Roasts, Short Ribs, Ground Beef, Stew Beef, Sliced Shanks, and Soup Bones. Full shares are designed to feed a family of 4 and half shares are designed to feed a family of 2. Beef CSA shares are calculated at a 10% discount. The payment plan option is available. Half shares pick up every other week.
